Last year in 2009, Aamir’s film 3 Idiots broke records set by Ghajini. 3 Idiots is a film about the Indian educational system that promotes rote learning.
As the film industry has grown fast in last some years, many foreign film production companies have also come to the country to do business. Sony and Warner Brothers are examples of foreign film companies producing films in India. However, as they have not much understanding of the Indian audience they tend to put their money in the wrong films products.
The film industry has taken a big leap in last some years. Now big corporate houses have entered the industry. They have started their operation in film production, film processing, and post-production work. UTV and Ntworkd18 are two listed companies that have performed well in the film industry.
