In order to get private companies involved in the research program of one university they needed to find a way for both sides to meet. To serve the needs of biotechnical research an academic entrepreneurship seminar was held in one state. As an attempt to further advance technology centers like this are created under state law. Any amount of money that comes from the million dollar state research fund should be matched by a member of the private sector working with the particular centers. Generating funds is not as simple as people may think. Research is a good cause that the government will willingly fund if the money is available but sadly government money is no longer increasing at a rate that could allow for such kind of spending. Aging equipment and inflation can easily result to more problems for those involved in the situation. It is not to be ignored that there are now more researchers who are demanding research funds. Some years back a lot of students graduated their dentistry course but there were not enough people who needed dental treatment especially since a majority no longer developed cavities.
