I just picked up the cutting edge web site promotion software by Alexandr Krulik called Magic Submitter, so I thought I'd perform a little review. The interface is easy and straight forward. The whole thing is simple to access and there is a good graphical user interface. There are several tabs along with a drop down box of services.
You can make accounts at social bookmarking services, article directories, rss aggregators, video sites, blogs and free email providers. One of the nicest features of this software is that it has a designer mode that can be utilized to add any site's sign up and submission procedures. This Magic Submitter review is concentrated on the initial account creation using the in-built services.
I won't be reviewing the free email account creation. I used a new email that I made on one of my domains.
Before you can create accounts at the various websites you have to make a user profile. Be sure you use an active email account, preferably a new one, because you'll have to verify emails after account creation.
Nearly everyone of the websites that Magic Submitter submits to require CAPTCHA verification to avoid spambots. You are able to either enter the CAPTCHA's manually or use the 3rd party service decaptcher.com. I decided to utilize decaptcher.
Magic Submitter is multi-threaded, meaning you are able to choose to have 1 to 3 browser windows registering accounts at one time. If you have a fast computer and fast internet connection i suggest you use the maximum three browsers to improve registration speed.
The whole account creation process took a few hours, but I did not have to stare at the computer the entire time. I was able to browse the net and work on other projects while Magic Submitter attended work. If this seems like too slow of a process for you, I wish to illustrate that most of the delay was due to the CAPTCHA solving service. It took a long time for some of the solving and sometimes the CAPTCHA's were incorrect. If you manually solved the CAPTCHA's you could probably create all the accounts in under an hour. You can either minimize the program as it performs the account creations, or look at what is happening in a browser window. When watching what was happening I could see how the CAPTCHA solving was very slow and every so often decaptcher got it incorrect. This would cause Magic Submitter to get off course. Clicking the "retry" button usually corrected the problem and allowed the account creation to proceed. One very nice feature about Magic Submitter is the ability to fix errors on the fly. If Magic Submitter experiences an issue when registering with a site it will lock the browser window permitting the user to fix errors. If you are able to successfully finish the registration process you are able to click "complete" and you're good to go.
When generating article and blog accounts it must be noted that the account creation procedures can be complicated. Magic Submitter provides instructions at the top of the browser window informing the user of what needs to be completed before continuing. An illustration of a common user required action is a web site will send a unique password to the e-mail account. The user must manually verify the email account and retrieve the password and enter it manually into Magic Submitter for that account. Other user required actions may be that the user has to manually login to the account and perform further account setup. Don't fret, there are not many sites that require user input. These are primarily blog web sites. It is good that Magic Submitter allows you to sign up at these sites, because it gives more options for submissions down the road.
I was very impressed with the successful account creations. Magic Submitter was able to create accounts at almost all the built in sites. After all of the registration is completed you have to click "check emails". Magic Submitter will then download and read all of the emails and click on all the verification links. Magic Submitter was able to successfully generate accounts at 100+ Web 2.0 web sites, with over 30 high ranking blogs!
In closing I have to say - not too bad for the just released web site marketing program. The next stage is to test submitting content to all of the accounts I just created. Stay tuned for further Magic Submitter Reviews.
