This is the first day of me using the brand new automated submitter program Magic Submitter. This is a review of the automated Account Creation procedure. The interface is easy and straight forward. Everything is easy to access and there's a good graphical user interface. There are several tabs along with a drop down box of services.
Magic Submitter is not only an automated submitter, but an automated account creator and email link verifier. There are dozens of built in services for blogs, video sites, social bookmarking, article directories and rss sites. There's even the ability to produce free email accounts to utilize for registration at all of the web 2.0 services. One of the nicest features of this software is that it has a designer mode that can be utilized to add any site's sign up and submission processes. This Magic Submitter review is targeted on the initial account creation using the in-built services.
I would like to illustrate that I didn't create a free email account. I used a brand new email account created on one of my domains. Some Web 2.0 services do not let you sign up with a free email account, so I opted to use my own email account to give Magic Submitter the benefit of the doubt.
The first action is to make an account profile, which includes the typical name, email, user name, password, address, site name and url. You can also include your email server and password for email verification.
If you've ever signed up at any web site on the web you know you have to enter CAPTCHA's. CAPTCHA's are the tiny squiggly words you have to type into a box to confirm that you are human. With Magic Submitter you can either do that by hand, or utilize a separate service call decaptcher.com. For a fee they will automatically solve the CAPTCHA for you.
Magic Submitter is multi-threaded, meaning you can choose to have 1 to 3 browser windows registering accounts at one time. If you have a quick computer and fast internet connection you should use the maximum three browsers to increase registration speed.
The whole account creation process took a couple of hours, but I did not have to stare at the pc the entire time. I was able to browse the internet and work on other tasks while Magic Submitter attended work. If this seems like too slow of a process for you personally, I wish to point out that most of the delay was due to the CAPTCHA solving service. It took a long time for some of the solving and sometimes the CAPTCHA's were incorrect. Should you manually solved the CAPTCHA's you could probably create all of the accounts in under an hour. You can either minimize the program as it performs the account creations, or observe what is happening in the browser window. When watching what was happening I could see that the CAPTCHA solving was very slow and every now and then decaptcher got it incorrect. This would cause Magic Submitter to get lost. Clicking the "retry" button usually corrected the issue and allowed the account creation to progress. There were occasions that Magic Submitter couldn't locate a reference text field. If this occurred I would manually enter the required data and click a "complete" button, which tells Magic Submitter that the account creation is complete. Magic Submitter will then use your profile data to login to that account.
While making article and blog accounts it must be noted that the account creation procedures may be complicated. Magic Submitter presents directions at the top of the browser window informing the user of what must be completed prior to continuing. There are some web sites that require you to click on a link in a confirmation email during the account creation process. When this is the case Magic Submitter will alert that you do so. Other user required actions may be that an individual must manually login to the account and perform additional account setup. Don't fret, there are not too many sites that need user input. These are mainly blog sites. It is good that Magic Submitter permits you to register at these sites, as it supplies more options for submissions down the road.
In the end Magic Submitter was able to create accounts at over 90% of the inbuilt services, requiring very little user input from me. After all of the registration is finished you must click "check emails". Magic Submitter will then download and read all of the emails and click all the verification links. After all was said and done I was signed up for well over 100 web services with a lot of of those being high level article directories and blog sites.
To be frank, the Magic Submitter Account Creation procedure had a higher success rate than I had expected. The next step is to undertake a Magic Submitter Submission Review.
