A kid's product called Pillow Pets are one of the top selling kids products for the year 2009 and thus far in the year 2010. As a matter of fact so many parents decided to buy them as Christmas presents for their children this past year, it was bought out in many stores and online as well.
So what causes these toys for children so special? At first look , it looks just like any ordinary cute stuffed toy to parents. This is done with Velcro straps. Whenever you unattach the Velcro fastening, the Pillow Pet will automatically pop open and turn into a pillow. To return it back into a soft toy again, you simply reattach the Velcro belt.

A mom of two in San Diego, California was the original creator of the Pillow Pets. The reason was that she was tired of her young children leaving their stuffed animals throughout their bedrooms and the home. So she decided she was going to make a stuffed toy that was also a function item. Later on she came up with the idea that it would be a pillow.
Because of this, she ended up creating a millionaire dollar industry and Pillow Pets are being sold in stores all over the country. The original product line only had six various animals but has now grown to over 30 various Pillow Pets.
