The Bugaboo name is pretty new in the baby prams and baby pushchairs arena and only really came into prominence after a well known celebrity was seen pushing their child in one. It's amazing how a bit of celebrity endorsement can work wonders on your product sales.
Bugaboo prams are a Dutch company and their first stroller or pushchair was released onto the market in late 1999. One of the main selling points of Bugaboo prams is the simple, minimalist design and light weight. The Bugaboo prams are some of the lightest pushchairs on the market and yet still allow a good range of adjustment and functionality. Reversible handlebars and really cool fabrics are what make the Bugaboo range stand out from its competitors although they only have a small range to choose from they have designed their product well for their target market. The Bugaboo range consists of 3 prams and all of them are suitable to be used with the companies Cabriofix child seat system. The three products in the range are:
The Bugaboo Cameleon, this is the best selling product in the range and allows you to use the seat separately and in either direction. The height adjustment on the Cameleon is very good too for tall people and is one of the main reasons for buying this product if you are tall. The Bugaboo Gecko is very similar in design to the Cameleon, but is not quite as flexible in its adjustment of height and separation of the seat.
The Bugaboo Bee range of prams is far more tradition in its approach and allows you to recline the seat or reverse it to work in either direction.
Bugaboo is a mobility company and their mission is to excite every person on the move. For parents, that mean having the knack to get out and explore the world with your child, Bugaboo wants to help you go.
