Okay, so I just purchased Magic Submitter, and the current version is 1.8. I ran through the account creation process and thought I should give a review. The interface is simple and straight forward. Everything is easy to access and there is a nice graphical user interface. There are several tabs plus a drop down box of services.
Magic Submitter is not only an automated submitter, but an automated account creator and email link verifier. There's dozens of built in services for blogs, video sites, social bookmarking, article directories and rss sites. There is even the ability to create free email accounts to make use of for registration at the whole set of web 2.0 services. A really neat feature of this program is the Designer Mode, that enables users to include any website they desire. With this feature you are not restricted to the inbuilt services (although there is well over 100.) As for this Magic Submitter review, we are going to focus on the account creations at the varied inbuilt services.
I wish to point out that I didn't create a free email account. I used a brand new email account created on one of my domains. Some Web 2.0 services don't let you sign up with a free email account, so I opted to use my own email account to give Magic Submitter the benefit of the doubt.
You will need to make a user profile that contains a user name, real name, address, web site ans site name. Additionally , you will have to enter your email settings and password so Magic Submitter can validate email confirmations on your behalf after the account creations.
Magic Submitter comes with the choice to utilize a third party service called decaptcher to solve CAPTCHA's. CAPTCHA's are images with obscured text used to prevent spam bots from registering at the web site. You do not have to use the third party service with Magic Submitter (you can solve the CAPTCHA's manually), but I decided to give decaptcher a go.
There is an option to use 1 to 3 browser windows. I opted to make use of 3 browser windows given that I have a quick computer plus a broadband internet connection.
The whole account creation process took a few hours, but I did not have to stare at the pc the whole time. I was able to browse the web and work on other tasks as Magic Submitter attended work. The "slowness" of the process was largely because of a delay in CAPTCHA solving by decaptcher.com. You can either minimize the program as it performs the account creations, or watch what is occurring in the browser window. When watching what was happening I could see that the CAPTCHA solving was very slow and from time to time decaptcher got it wrong. This would cause Magic Submitter to get lost. Clicking the "retry" button typically corrected the issue and allowed the account creation to proceed. There were times that Magic Submitter could not find a reference text field. If this occurred I would manually key in the required data and click on a "complete" button, which tells Magic Submitter that the account creation is complete. Magic Submitter will then use your profile data to login to that account.
While generating article and blog accounts it should be noted that the account creation procedures can be complex. Magic Submitter gives instructions at the top of the browser window informing the user of what needs to be completed before continuing. On occasion a site won't let you employ the password you utilised in the account profile. The website will email you the password, so you have to retrieve the password and put it into Magic Submitter by hand. Additional user required actions may be that an individual must manually login to the account and perform additional account setup. These websites are minimal and well worth a bit of additional effort to have more sites to select from.
I was very impressed with the successful account creations. Magic Submitter was able to create accounts at nearly all of the built in websites. After account creation don't forget to go through the email verification procedure, which Magic Submitter does automatically. In total, I successfully signed up for over 110 services. It has to be noted the article directories are the top tier. Out of all the accounts, over 30 were blogs, which is very commanding to be sure.
In closing I need to say - not too bad for the just released web site promotion program. The next stage is to test submitting content to all of the accounts I just created. Stay tuned for more Magic Submitter Reviews.
