Physical Attractiveness playing a vital role in dating

Whether you accept it or not "Looks" are the most important criteria when you consider dating. So if you believe it doesn't, then don't try to fool yourself or others. Physical attractiveness is really vital in the dating game. We dare not deny that its unfair but this is how it is in today's media savvy world. All of us in today's generation do make comments or judgments about how one looks or carries themselves.

Not only this, we ourselves are concerned about our presentation on the very first date and try hard to put our best foot forward. Ultimately it's all about looks whether yours or your companion's. Take it on yourself. You might be totally in love with you but still there might be some features that you don't.

Basic physical attraction is the root for any relationship if you may ask. If there is no attraction from both side or even from one side then the relationship can never last long and you might end up being friends. To make things work it's imperative to have a certain level of desirability. In the first few minutes of meet, attraction plays the key role.

Attraction is the chemistry between you and your companion. Some of the basic signals of physical appeal include-
• Wetting the lips
• Reddening of the skin
• Dilation of the pupils
• Arousal of human instincts.

The signals should ultimately lead to a high level of desire to have sex. Don't try and act like a fool by suppressing the feelings or by believing that initial dates are not about looks? We generally tend to match our taste and like by looking at their eyes, lips, the way they walk, the way they sit and more. This is all done by purpose.

But we tend to forget or avoid that the problem arises when we don't find that someone who finds us attractive. Why would we try to fill in or make up with our personality if we don't believe that looks are important? Why would we notice what we lack where looks are concerned?

So what's there to remember is that looks should not be underestimated as an important factor in dating. This goes both the ways. If you are observing the looks and personality of others on a date, make sure you do it for yourself as well. If you think you lack some looks, then work towards it not only for your companion but also for yourself. This will also boost your self confidence.

Physical attractiveness only doesn't matter when you already have a liking for the look of that person and find them desirable. On the other hand if you are not physically attracted to the guy, then looks become quite a lame excuse for not having a relationship. Age is one of the factors that strongly affect physical attractiveness.

Do not confuse physical matching with physical perfection. Compatibility is what chemistry is all about.
