Last year I participated in a coffee drinking competition and won this coffee maker. Yes, just as much as funny it sounds, it was a tough competition. I brought this coffee maker home and decided to use it after a week or so, since my coffee thirst had been more than satisfied after that contest. I will be honest, I wasn't expecting much from this machine as a result of course I won it at a local competition! Yet I would not hesitate to admit that I was so wrong thinking this wouldn't work good sufficient. This coffee maker hasn't once disappointed me when it came to coffee of my preferred taste and I am thinking of getting a whole new one for my office too.
So lets discuss the pros that got me hooked on to this coffee maker. First off makes fantastic tasting coffee, one of the primary factors one would want to buy a coffee maker for. The coffee making process is incredibly simple and simple, no complicated characteristics to gave a non consistent taste to your coffee. The filter plunger is of very good good quality . It was my 1st time using the pump action, at first I was quite nervous yet the procedure is again, easy and effortless. The carafe is glass made, I have consistently preferred that over plastic ones, as they tend to give out chemicals. It is also paper filter free, making organic coffee. I love the removable and or replaceable beaker, just a superb add on you'd require. Energy is also saved as there is no heating element. The clean up is much easier than I though it'd be, just unscrewing the end of the pusher and washing anything with hot water works properly. To remember the nice screen at the pour spout. The whole machine itself gives an extremely unique and fashionable look to the kitchen counter. It definitely makes coffee better than a drip coffee maker. One more thing this coffee maker does is that it lets you impress your friends with a special type of coffee or rather an European style coffee that they could particularly enjoy!
Countless positives, one might wonder if this machine has any cons or not? Well, nothing major in particular yet just for the heck of sharing, lets discuss some of the very minor flaws in this machine. Initial off, yes it demands more cleanup than an average automatic drip coffee maker. If you're one of people who love their coffee hot, well this one does not have any heating element to it (although I am okay with it). The black plastic handle feels like It can break anytime, not that it has for me. And finally , coarsely ground coffee is suggested as without which you wouldn't get the proper coffee, which just adds an extra stage to your coffee making process if you do not have coarsely ground coffee prior to hand.
In a nutshell, this french press has definitely made my coffee life fun and simple. The cons are nothing big so I wouldn't even dream of getting another coffee maker for as long as this one lasts. Happy Coffee!
